She was a good girl. Until the mirror cracked. Until good went bad. Until good went MAD.
She was a good girl. Like many of us are. Good girls. Good boys.
Good enough… good… go…
MAD
What happened when a good girl went mad? Looked in the mirror and stripped free from the expectations and norms. Stepped into the nightmare and embraced her twisted parts.
Was she lost? Or was she found?
This project was created as an exploration of an artist soul’s darker corners. Places where they themselves rarely visit. Painful truths about what they really are: not flawless, woven from mistakes and failures.
It is about the most underrated, beautifully twisted reflections we see in the mirror when we stop hiding. Reflections that are usually tucked away, concealed under smiles, loud music, bright stage lights and make-up.
We dived into the madness and let it shape itself through two artists: choreographer and photographer. Two languages: body and vision.
One reflection, fractured. One madness, shared.
What madness is anyway? For an artist?
For a human.
